Vex Robotics "Change Up"

Directed a 3 person team to design and construct a robot that would effectively master the game. The goal for the skills portion of the game was to score as many red balls as possible by placing them in the towers and remove all blue balls from the towers. I sketched and 3D modeled on Fusion 360 to develop subcomponent prototypes that were manufactured using a CNC with plexiglass material. Performed exceptionally well at the Vex Robotics Worlds Skills Competition and finished with a rank of #11 in the world and #1 in Texas.

The main subcomponents that were designed on Fusion 360 includes the brackets for the x-drive base, the curved bumper on the front and the back protective plate.
