Reverse engineered virtual reality goggles to fit an iPhone X. 3D mesh modeled head was provided and I was tasked to design goggles based on the head dimensions. My design features a horizontal strap as well as a vertical strap to ensure stability and comfort.
Solidworks was used to complete the VR goggles. Dimensions were measured on the head and sketches were created to create a general outline of the shape of the goggles. These sketches were translated to a new part file where the goggles were created. An assembly was made with the goggles, head and iPhone X to complete the product.
